(Important: This is NOT an IT helpdesk role! It's about hands-on technical work with physical products.)

Location: Stevenage, UK (On-site)

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per year

Contract: Full-time, Permanent. It can fit perfectly as a job while studying, and we're also open to apprenticeship applications.

Freeform Fabrication supplies cutting-edge technology (like advanced 3D printers!) across the UK and internationally. We're looking for someone enthusiastic and technically minded to join our support team. This role mixes technical challenges with great opportunities to learn and grow within the company.

 

What You'll Be Doing:

• Become an expert on selected products.

• Help customers use the equipment (via phone, videos, email, maybe site visits later).

• Work closely with our engineers to improve products and help create user guides.

• Help manage support requests and keep customers happy.

• Look for ways to make our customer support even better.

 

Who We're Looking For:

• Someone with a background or strong interest in engineering, electronics, or similar practical fields.

• Have a valid driving license.

• Naturally curious, organised, reliable, and good at paying attention to detail.

• A great problem-solver who enjoys figuring things out.

• Good communicator – able to explain technical things clearly.

• Happy working independently and as part of a team.

• Proficient with basic office software, email, etc.

• Required: Full UK driving license and ability to reliably commute to our office in Stevenage.

 

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience with 3D printing, laser welding or other manufacturing tech.

• Worked in a customer-facing job.

• Background in electronics.

• Creativity.

• Speak other languages (we have international customers!).
